Old people have a duty toward youngsters to tell them about life - to tell them what made them happy and what sad, what mistakes they did and how to avoid them, why being wealthy is futile and that happiness comes when you expected less, how life sucks but it is worth living.
Do we really have to make the same mistakes over and over again? Are the humans more inclined to try something even if they know the chance of failure is 99%?

It’s been quiet in here for the last week or so but there is a very good reason for that. For those of you who don’t know yet, I’m back at the Lodge (worked here until January last year).
This week was the first full week in the lodge and it’s been a very busy one: lots of projects and an entire new website almost out of the door.
I must admit being back feels a bit weird and it might look like, somehow, I’m negating myself. It’s not the case.
But it feels like a new beginning. Did you ever wished you went back to school with the intelligence and experience you have now? Well, that’s exactly how I feel.
God pressed Ctrl+Z Command+Z.
Thank you!

Isn’t it amazing how big theories can be summaries and encapsulated into a simple programme that can be broadcasted on UK TV (Channel 4) on a Sunday afternoon.
I have a physics background, but I’m sure anyone with the slightest interest in the world around us will thing this interesting. The programme is called: “Stephen Hawking - Master of the universe” and it does a pretty good job explaining Hawking’s theories, the String Theory as well as the Universe’s extra dimensions. BTW, there are 11 of them.
